Nataliia Aliushyna, the Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, says that the percentage of collaborators in the civil service during the war is minimal.
"The National Agency does not keep such statistics. We don't have the authority to carry out relevant investigations. Of course, there are such cases. But we are talking about a minimal percentage of collaborators in the civil service," Aliushyna said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine, when asked if there are any known cases of collaboration of civil servants in the occupied or frontline territories.
The Head of the Agency noted that during the war, civil servants proved to be conscious citizens who are able to take responsibility and show initiative.
"I am proud of thousands of colleagues who have shown dignity and respect for people. I hope that after the war we will see a better attitude of the society towards the representatives of the state. After all, they, together with the military, have saved Ukraine," she said.
