During a working meeting, Nataliia Aliushyna, the Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, and David Vaughn, the Head of the USAID Justice for All (J4A) Program, discussed prospects for cooperation, in particular, cooperation in promoting integrity among civil servants and improving the level of organizational culture in the civil service.
The representatives of the USAID Justice for All Activity in Ukraine spoke about the purpose, objectives and areas of their activities. The main ones are strengthening anti-corruption initiatives in the judicial system, providing expert assistance to improve the legal and regulatory framework in accordance with international and European standards. They also shared the results of their expert research.
Nataliia Aliushyna presented initiatives and measures of the NAUCS on integrity in the public service, the formation of organizational culture, and the establishment of standards of ethical behavior for civil servants and local government officials. She also spoke about the new remuneration system and the quantitative and qualitative composition of civil servants.
Nataliia Aliushyna also invited to participate in the annual Richelieu Forum of Public Service, which will be held on September 25-27.
During the meeting, the Heads of the National Agency and the USAID Justice for All Program agreed to jointly support initiatives and fruitful cooperation.
