Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Nataliia Aliushyna met with Allan Pagh Kristensen, Head of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), and the EUACI team in Ukraine.
The parties discussed areas of further cooperation in the professional training of civil servants and local government officials on integrity, moral and ethical standards in the public service, anti-corruption measures, etc.
EUACI representatives spoke about the regulatory framework for the moral and ethical principles of Danish civil servants, the development of ethical standards of conduct for officials, and compliance with the principles of civil service, among which, as in Ukraine, integrity plays an important role. EUACI experts also shared Denmark's experience in introducing new HR tools to public service.
Nataliia Aliushyna, in turn, spoke about the NAUCS initiatives and activities on integrity in the public service, organizational culture, and setting standards of ethical behavior for civil servants and local government officials. Particular attention was paid to educational opportunities for civil servants provided by the High School of Public Governance at the NAUCS.
During the meeting, the heads of the NAUCS and EUACI agreed to mutually support initiatives and fruitful cooperation.
