The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service held a working meeting with representatives of the World Bank regarding the continuation of the Public Finance Management Support Programme for Ukraine.
Representatives of NAUCS and experts from the World Bank, including Practice Manager Adrian Fozzard and Public Sector Specialist Nane Harutyunyan, discussed the Programme’s implementation, its key priorities and further steps. Particular attention was paid to issues related to the implementation of HRMIS - Human Resource Management Information System.
HRMIS is currently one of the key digital tools for modernising human resource management in the civil service. The system is designed to facilitate more transparent and efficient management of personnel and wages. A total of 1,064 government bodies have already been connected to the system, with over 87,000 civil servant records created.
Participants discussed ways to encourage greater involvement of government bodies in the use of HRMIS, in particular by strengthening its role as a tool for managing HR processes in public authorities. The meeting also covered the challenges arising during the practical implementation of HRMIS and approaches to addressing them.
The meeting helped outline further cooperation between NAUCS and the World Bank to support the continued development and effective use of HRMIS.
