During the thematic workshop as part of the roundtable "Transformation of the Civil Service Culture: 5", practical cases and algorithms for implementing changes were discussed. Participants included representatives of state and local governments, international projects, and the public. Several groups developed recommendations for improving the level of organisational culture in public authorities.
In particular, the experts discussed the issues of creating a culture of governance and barrier-free access, motivating and engaging staff, building a culture of communication and integrity in the public service.
Each of the groups identified issues in the context of the proposed topics, developed a list of activities, prioritised their implementation and described the expected results. The moderators were experts Yuliia Marushkevych, Serhii Horovenko, Alla Oliynyk, Yurii Manilov and Roman Rukomeda.
The results of the workshop will be included in this year's Analytical Report on the Results of Civil Servant Surveys in 2020, 2021, and 2023.
The event was organised by the NAUCS and the Centre for Integrity in the Defence Sector (CIDS) at the Norwegian Ministry of Defence.
