The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service organised a working meeting between representatives of government bodies and EF (Education First), a language learning company. During the meeting, they discussed plans and priorities of public bodies for learning English as part of European integration. They also discussed other projects in the area of professional training for civil servants, the development of a culture of inclusiveness and social support for citizens.

Nataliia Aliushyna noted the importance of learning English for public servants. According to her, the request to learn English is one of the highest. This was stated by more than 60% of experts on European integration. 

In 2023, the NAUCS, together with the international educational organisation EF Language Learning Solutions, launched the Project "Eng4PublicService". It aims to strengthen the English language skills of civil servants. The project is implemented via the Knowledge Management Portal, which was created by the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service to organise training for civil servants. More than 19,000 civil servants from more than 950 state and local government bodies are studying English as part of the project. The total number of certificates issued is almost 13,000.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, the Office of the Presidential Commissioner for the Barrier-Free Environment, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the State Employment Service, the High School of Public Governance, and the Centre for Adaptation of the Civil Service to EU Standards.
