The Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, Nataliia Aliushyna, met with Elizabeth Geagea, Senior Development Officer, Ukraine development program, Global Affairs Canada.
The Head of the NAUCS focused on cooperation in 2023 between the National Agency, the High School of Public Governance and the SURGe Project, funded by the Government of Canada.
According to Nataliia Aliushyna, this cooperation has already made it possible to introduce the principles of results-based management (RBM) in the civil service. This includes training programs for civil servants and the launch of the School of Strategic Training. The main task of the School is to introduce effective tools for developing the professional competencies of senior civil servants as a new generation of leaders for strategic transformation and rebuilding of the state. The School has graduated 42 senior civil servants.
An important task is the implementation of the Information System of Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Based on the Principles of Results-Based Management (PROJECTUA). In 2023, the Strategic Action Plan of the National Agency for 2022-2024 and the Work Plan for 2023 were monitored in PROJECTUA in a pilot mode.
To achieve transparency of the NAUCS's activities in planning matters, DashboardUA was launched as a web page on the NAUCS website. The Head of the Agency presented the Dashboard with the results of the Agency's work in 2023 during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee.
