The Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, Nataliia Aliushyna, and the Ambassador, the OSCE chairmanship's special representative for Ukraine, Petr Mareš, discussed the prospects for further cooperation. In particular, they discussed continuing joint projects on building organisational culture in public service, mediation, and conflict resolution.
Nataliia Aliushyna noted the fruitful cooperation between the NAUCS and the OSCE, which began in 2019. Over the years, many successful projects have been implemented. For example, in 2023, a general short-term training programme ‘Conflict Management in Public Institutions’ was prepared. Last year, about 200 representatives of state and local governments from 14 regions of Ukraine and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea were educated under this programme. In addition, with the participation of OSCE experts, Methodological Recommendations on Conflict Management in State and Local Governments were prepared and approved. OSCE experts also contributed to the development of a Guide to Building Organisational Culture in the Public Service.
During the meeting, Nataliia Aliushyna and Petr Maresh agreed to support initiatives and cooperate mutually. In particular, this year it is planned to continue training under the general short-term training programme ‘Conflict Management in Public Institutions’ and to train representatives from 10 regions of Ukraine.
