On March 05, Nataliia Aliushyna, the Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, presented a public report on the NAUCS activities for 2024.
During the event, the results of the Agency's work in the areas of civil service reform, HR management of public institutions, digitalisation, professional development of public servants, remuneration reform, promotion of integrity, recruitment of young people and veterans to the public service, international cooperation, etc. were reported.
“2024 was a year of resilience and transformation for the public service. During the war, we not only ensured the continuous operation of government institutions but also systematically transformed the civil service, bringing it closer to European standards,” Nataliia Aliushyna said.
Among the priorities for 2025, the Head of the NAUCS named the continuation of the remuneration system reform, further digitalization of HR processes, resumption of competitions for civil service positions, involvement of young people and veterans in public service, introduction of an inclusive environment in the public sector and expansion of the system of professional training for civil servants and local government officials.
“Civil servants are the people who hold the rear, ensure the continuity of management processes and bring our Victory closer. We will continue to change the public service to make it modern, transparent and efficient. There is a lot of work ahead, but together with our team and partners we are confidently moving forward and implementing these changes,” summarized Nataliia Aliushyna.
