The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service and the Recovery for All International Technical Assistance Project (RFA) have agreed to continue cooperation on enhancing the capacity of public servants in strategic planning.
This was discussed during the meeting of the Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Nataliia Aliushyna and the Director of the High School of Public Governance Yulia Lykhach with the team of the RFA Project, which is being implemented in Ukraine by Alinea International Ltd. and funded by the Government of Canada.
The parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to join forces in building a professional and effective civil service and service in local governments. During the meeting, Nataliia Aliushyna noted the importance of strategic planning in the daily activities of public servants and expressed her gratitude to the Project team for cooperation, support for NAUCS initiatives and joint project implementation. In particular, to improve the quality of work processes in the public service through the ProjectUA IT system, a strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation system based on the principles of result-based management developed by the Project.
In her turn, RFA Project Director Tawnia Leigh Sanford Ammar noted the readiness to provide further support in Ukraine's recovery now, so that Ukrainians can not only overcome the consequences of the war, but also build a better future. Therefore, the RFA Project team will continue to provide international technical assistance, in particular, in the areas of strategic planning and recovery management based on the Results-Based Management (RBM) methodology.
