The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society will join forces to provide professional training and development of public servants.  This was the topic of a working meeting between Nataliia Aliushyna, the Head of the NAUCS, and Maksym Dotsenko, the General Director of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

In particular, there are plans to work together on a training programme for civil servants, which will include learning first aid, psychological first aid, and international humanitarian law. It is expected that civil servants in category ‘A’ will be the first to take part in this training.

According to Nataliia Aliushyna, it is important that the knowledge gained during training is not a formality, but a real tool for protecting life. After all, training civil servants in first aid skills, along with other knowledge such as international humanitarian law and psychological support, is not just an important but a necessary element of their professional training, especially in the context of modern challenges.  There are also plans to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the NAUCS and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, outlining the parties' intentions for joint activities.
